Program Description
MHS/TURN’s RISE program is a gender-responsive, trauma-informed residential treatment program designed to support adult men transitioning from incarceration back into the community. Operated in partnership with the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR), Division of Rehabilitative Programs (DRP), Fresno RISE is a Male Community Reentry Program (MCRP) and provides a safe, structured, and supportive environment for men to heal, grow, and rebuild their lives.
Our Mission
To remove barriers and support the transition from incarceration to community with supportive, evidence-based care that addresses the unique challenges of reentry, substance use recovery, and trauma, while promoting long-term stability, wellness, and community reintegration.
Key Program Features
RISE offers a comprehensive range of community-based rehabilitative services tailored to the needs of justice-involved men, including:
- Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Counseling & Education
Delivered through individual and group sessions using evidence-based practices that promote recovery and relapse prevention. - Co-Occurring Disorders (COD) Services
Integrated mental health and substance use treatment for participants with dual diagnoses. - Trauma-Informed Care
All services are delivered with an understanding of the impact of trauma, emphasizing safety, trust, empowerment, and healing.
