Fresno First Women’s Residential
Substance Use Disorder, Supportive Housing
A residential substance use treatment program that offers gender responsive treatment and recovery services. We are dedicated to helping women through the challenges of recovery from alcohol and drug addiction. We serve women who are Fresno County residents involved with the Fresno County Department of Social Services (CPS) or Medi-Cal recipients in need of residential treatment services. We offer perinatal services to pregnant and parenting women. Fresno First allows placement of minor children from birth to 12 years old in the program with their mother when appropriate.
Our program provides an array of recovery and educational services that assists in the development and strengthening of skills related to healthy parenting, relationships, self-efficacy, and relapse prevention. The services at Fresno First Residential are focused on trauma informed and client centered care in which residents collaborate with staff to identify strengths which foster recovery from addictive behaviors and maladaptive coping skills. Our goal is that each women leave Fresno First with the tools needed to remain a sober and productive member of society.
